In case the stope design shapes, or the as-built/survey, are not available in a suitable format for RocboX, there are alternative steps to be taken.
Step one: Layers and object names
Import all stope design or as-built shapes (not both simultaneously) into Rhino and ensure all objects are assigned to a single layer and with a blank object name, as shown below.
Step two: Export as an OBJ file
Select all stope objects and export them as an obj file using the settings below.
Step three: Import the OBJ file
Open a new Rhino project file and import the obj file generated in step two above. Use the following import settings.
All objects should now have unique names, each assigned to a separate layer, as shown below.
To export individual layers from Rhino and perform mass editing of filenames, the tools listed below can be utilized.
