Stephan First question - why? I always use Large Objects - Meters Second question - why is absolute tolerance 1e-7? Sounds extreme Third question - why is the angle tolerance invalid?
Simon Good questions… To be honest I have just always had the Geotech template set as default so never looked into it! - @Tom originally created the file several rhino versions ago so will be able to answer those questions and maybe it was more critical in v5/6 than it is in V8..?
Tom It was something that was suggested quite a while ago and it would have been more for geometry cleaning for tet meshes. We can always change it. I find using this default template is also useful as otherwise the shaded/rendered views look a bit odd
